and Media diplomacy were used. The methodology adopted in this study is discourse analysis using Van Dijk’s approach of discourse analysis. The material of the study also includes 7 reports and from “Oil, Coup and Mosadegh” documentary film. It should also be noted that the sample population was collected in a purposive manner.
The Findings show that the total reports and documentary film were similar to each other based on lexical style, persons and identities presented in the texts, Polarization, citations, presuppositions, inculcations, consensuses, elements, and fundamental implications prepositions. Based on the findings of the study, the main framework adopted within reports and the documentary film is “the political framework of western Media Diplomacy” in which common discourses such as Iranian Nationalism discourse, National Interest discourse, Imperialistic discourse Of America, Counter-discourse of anti-imperialism, peace-seeking discourse, Religion leader’s betrayal to nation interest, co-promise discourse, and attacking Political Islam discourse, With regard to the basis of epistemological framework are being referred to each report have been highlighted. Each of these reports has presented its images based on the structured discourses.
